These meetings are for program board members and/or committee volunteers and are provided at no charge for DCED designated organizations and for PDC recognized members.
For those who are not DCED designated or PDC recognized members, there is a $50 fee to attend.
As local program managers benefit from the interaction with their peers at managers meetings, the same interaction benefits board members of the local revitalization organization or the governing bodies, committees, and or commissions of municipalities. The Leadership Forums are specifically designed for local revitalization organization leadership and the elected or appointed members of municipal governing bodies and their advisory commissions, committees, councils.
Typically, Leadership Forum agendas may contain nonprofit-related information including: IRS, PA Dept. of State Bureau of Charitable Organizations, National Main Street Center, US Dept. of Labor, additional funding opportunities, and BoardSource updates. Additionally, the Leadership Forum provides an opportunity for program board and committee volunteers to share program concerns, issues, and questions for peer-to-peer discussions.
